The European Medical Educational Initiative on Advanced Bleeding Care (ABC) has been initiated in late 2003 with the objective to prepare independent educational material to be used for CME events in the area of bleeding care. Since then the programme has grown and developed considerably to encompass a variety of educational activities both on the national and international level.
The status of current and recently completed activities for the ABC and ABC-Trauma medical education initiatives and related projects can be viewed on the recently launched ABC Website at (

In addition, the educational slides of the ABC Slide Library and the ABC-Trauma Slide Kit can be viewed and downloaded, and the website offers virtual presentations of ABC symposia and ABC examinations.
