Dr. Gisela Beyendorff-Hajda completed
Diploma and Ph.D. degrees in Chemistry and started her career
in the pharmaceutical industry in 1981 as a Medical Advisor
for the BASF Pharma/Knoll group, where she held various national
and international positions in marketing for both launched products
and products in development.
Before joining Physicians World Europe in June 2001, Dr. Beyendorff-Hajda was Medical Director
Analgesic with global responsibility within the Corporate Marketing
division of BASF Pharma. She gathered extensive experience in
various therapeutic areas (e.g. analgesics, anti-thrombotics,
gastroenterology and urology) and was responsible for the planning
and implementation of scientific symposia and Phase IIIb/IV
clinical studies. As Senior Scientific Manager, she is responsible
for the development of scientific content for many national
and international projects.
