The German Data Protection Act stipulates in § 4g BDSG that
the data protection officer has to make available according to
§ 4e BDSG the following specifications to the public:

4. Purpose of Data Collection, Processing or Use:
Physicians World Europe is a globally acting company with
the objective of providing services of education and information
in the context of health care, e.g. strategic consulting, scientific
communication and medical education.
We will only collect, process, store and use your personal data
in order to achieve the aforementioned objectives.
5. Description of affected persons, respective data and data
categories:
Personal data of employees, customers, suppliers, service providers
and participants of events that are organised and/or implemented
by Physicians World Europe, if this data is necessary to
achieve the objectives mentioned in section 4.
6. Recipients or categories of recipients to whom data can be
disclosed:
Governmental authorities if there are compelling and superior
laws in place, external service providers and contractors in accordance
with § 11 BDSG "Collection, processing or use of personal
data by an agent" to fulfil their service contracts with
us, internal departments of Physicians World Europe and
financial institutions, insofar as they are commissioned with
payment transactions. We will transfer personal data only to achieve
the objectives mentioned in section 4.
7. Time limits for deletion of data:
After expiration of the different legal liabilities and time
limits for storage, the respective data are deleted. If data are
not covered by those regulations, they will be deleted when the
objectives mentioned in section 4 are no longer valid.
8. Planned transfer of data to third countries:
We do not plan to transfer personal data to third countries.
In case a transfer of data to third countries should become necessary
to achieve the objectives mentioned in section 4, Physicians World Europe will implement suitable measures to ensure that the
data will be protected to the same degree as in Germany.
